Vânia Galindo Massabni

Brazil Education Research Lead, University of São Paulo.

Professor at the University of São Paulo since 2006, located at the Luiz de Queiroz campus (ESALQ) in Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil. She graduated in Biological Sciences from UNESP in 1994 and worked as a teacher in basic education. She holds a master’s degree in Science Education and a doctorate in School Education, completed in 2005. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Curriculum Studies at the University of Minho (Portugal). At USP, she teaches undergraduate courses and coordinates the Graduate Program in Applied Ecology, where she supervises research in the Education track. She also supervises the professional graduate program in Environmental Science Education (ProfCiamb).

She is currently involved in the SargaSTREAM project, contributing her expertise to the planning of workshops and educational materials, collaborating with local citizens and teachers to ensure knowledge transfer throughout the project's development.
