Director, Education for Sharing

Dina Buchbinder is the Founder and President of Education for Sharing (E4S), a global nonprofit transforming education through the power of play. For nearly two decades, she has worked with more than two million children, educators, and families across the Americas, cultivating empathy, collaboration, and civic agency through the Play–Reflect–Act methodology. A National Geographic Explorer, 2024 Wayfinder Awardee, and Ashoka Fellow, Dina designs and leads initiatives that invite communities to see themselves as active stewards of their environments. Her work bridges science, art, and education to ignite imagination and collective action—helping people of all ages recognize the interconnectedness of ecosystems and their own capacity to regenerate them through creativity and care. Guided by wonder and grounded in play, Dina believes learning is one of humanity’s most powerful tools for sustainability—and hope in action..
